• Initiate/facilitate internal meetings with sales, estimating, and project management as required to develop the design plan. • Maintain a vast knowledge base of new materials, technologies, lighting, architecture, lightweight solutions, green solutions, arts & design, social media, entertainment, etc. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture or similar degree; or minimum three (3) years’ related experience and/or training in design discipline; At least two (2) years’ work experience and exposure in design discipline closely related to the exhibit and/or museum design industry, or completion of cooperative (internship) program at a college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. General Skills: • Design Knowledge - Must understand interpretive planning principles. Must understand the implications of space planning as well as have the skill to visualize and communicate concepts verbally.
