3d PROP ARTIST

Mayo Studios is looking for 3D Prop Artists to work in close coordination with our New York City-based Imagemaking team. Mayo is the premier creative production studio specializing in image-making for home and lifestyle brands. With over 60 years of experience, our growing team seeks a multi-talented 3D Artist. You will collaborate with our studio team in order to create and refine 3d models. Typical tasks will include: \\- Creating product models of furniture, props and home accessories \\- Modeling interior architectural elements \\- Modeling soft textiles (bedding, blankets, pillows, etc) \\- Creating detailed product models (typically refining existing STP files) in order to depict client products in as photo-real a style as possible Experience should include: \\- Creating production-quality assets \\- Solid understanding of PBR material workflow \\- Understanding of high-to-low asset workflow \\- Understanding of good topology and edge-flow \\- Experience using GPU path-traced rendering engines like Cycles, Octane, Redshift Software: Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, We are looking for part-time/freelance.
