ACCOUNTING ANALYST

One of the nation's leading Planning, Architectural, and Interior Design firms is searching for a talented and motivated Accounting Assistant to work in their offices that are headquartered in Baltimore. Position Description • Assist in the monthly financial process • Perform monthly account audits, journal entries, etc. • Prepare various financial and account analysis as requested • Preparation of bank reconciliation • Provide general support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable • Process vendor invoices, travel & expense reports • Proof vendor acknowledgements • Scan and maintain files, records and reports for accounts payable functions • Process monthly client billing • Process A/R payments and weekly check run • Coordinate project consultant paperwork • Assist with special projects as needed • Communicate professionally with customers and vendors What We’re Looking For • Two years office bookkeeping, accounting or related experience is required • Adept at Purchasing software, Excel, Word, and Outlook software • Excellent knowledge of hospitality resources, vendors and manufacturers • Excellent leadership and communication skills • Promote a professional appearance and demeanor at all times • Strong organizational skills • Be a proactive, self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team • Attention to detail while also being able to work quickly to hit deadlines We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience, as well as a generous benefits package and a welcoming environment that encourages and supports professional development.
