Accounting Assistant

Eckert Wordell (EW) is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our accounting, business administration, and human resources department. Perform, under periodic supervision, a variety of routine accounting functions including:

Process accounts payable checksProcess monthly client invoices and statementsMaintain COI files for consultantsProcess expense account data monthlyProcess timesheets weeklyRecord employee receivable chargesReconcile VISA statements and bank accountsPrepare and deliver bank depositsAssist with maintenance of subsidiary ledgers and spreadsheetsProvide general assistance to the accounting, business administration, and human resources department and other duties as requestedQualifications

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; prefer 5+ years of experienceBachelor’s or Associates degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a least 3 years of accounting experience; or an equivalent of education and experience___________

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
