ACCOUNTING MANAGER – ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN FIRM

An award-winning San Francisco architecture and interior design firm is seeking a multi-faceted, experienced **Accounting Manager**. As our **Accounting Manager** , you would be responsible for all the accounting operations and accounting for FF&E; purchasing. Bring your high standards, talent, and sense of humor and join us. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** • Responsible for our budgets including creation, oversight, analysis, and forecasting • General ledger month-end closing, bank account reconciliation, and financial statements • Generate reporting, accounting and compliance guidance • Create periodic financial reports, analyze and present results; provide financial analysis, as needed, for capital investments, pricing decisions and contract negotiations • Responsible for invoicing; capturing all time and expenses per project along with project reconciliation • Management of A/R and A/P, collections, deposits, bi-weekly cash flow reports • Manage payroll using 3rd party service and manage PTO program • Manage healthcare / benefits and 401(k) plans, education and enrollment program and open enrollment • Maintain knowledge of Accounting and HR rules and regulations incompliance with local, state, and federal government ordinances **JOB REQUIREMENTS** • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent experience • 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role for a $4-6MM company • Excellent analytical, financial analysis, organizational, and communication skills • Highly detail oriented with strong judgment and unimpeachable integrity • Meticulous documentation and record keeping • Committed, and highly dependable hands-on team player with a solutions- oriented approach • Ability to multi- task and meet deadlines under pressure • Desire for continuous improvement • Strong computer, verbal and written communication skills • Understanding of working with multiple corporate entities (joint ventures, subsidiaries, affiliates, etc.)
