Adjunct Faculty - Interior Design

Position Title: Adjunct Faculty - Interior Design Responsibilities for a KCAD adjunct faculty member include syllabus and class preparation, instruction during scheduled course time, providing reasonable availability to students for consultation and assistance with respect to assigned course(s), evaluation of student performance, submission of mid-term and final grades on the FSU Banner system, and archiving of both course material and student work as requested by the program chair and/or the Dean of Academic Affairs. Required Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years professional experience in the design of residential and/or commercial design fields. Special Instructions to Applicants: Cover letter clearly identifying your skills, demonstrated competencies, and depth of understanding in areas such as the design process, hand rendering, construction documentation, industry software programs, building codes, and various project typologies. Candidates that do not have a Master’s degree will be required to have a combination of experience and accomplishment as outlined under the Required Education section.
