Architect - Interiors

What You Will Do • Collaborate to design and deliver interior architecture and interior design projects that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and management of budgets and schedules, construction documents, and construction administration • Design and deliver functional and beautiful workplaces for Technology, Financial Services Firms and Professional Services Firms, and many more project types • Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, and AV consultants • Responsible for communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials • Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges • Support Specifications Writer to maintain project manual and specifications • Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI's during construction • Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships Your Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program • 10-15 years of relevant experience with interior architecture projects (must have interior architecture projects in portfolio - workplace interiors preferred) • Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) • Working knowledge of building codes and standards, and permit processes • Hand rendering skills to communicate design concepts are a plus • Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas • Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development • Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly • A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment • Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills • Licensed / Registered Architect • LEED accreditation is a plus • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; If possible, portfolios will ideally include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview Please include a portfolio showcasing your most relevant projects for this role, in addition to your resume.
