Architect - Interiors & Architecture - Mid Level

At Gensler, we design for people. As a Gensler Architect, you will collaborate with a team of architects and designers to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction administration phase of a project. Your Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school • Must be a licensed architect in the State of California • 5-10 years of experience in the profession of architectural design • Experience managing multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultants • Experience working directly with trade partners and contractors • Experience resolving complex technical and design issues • Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite • Understanding of how buildings are constructed and the ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly, and accurately describe the work to be done • Knowledge of California building codes, standards, and building structures • Understanding of sustainable and universal design concepts • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required.
