ARCHITECT OR INTERIOR DESIGN STUDENT PART-TIME AUTOCAD DRAFTER

The position is for a student who is majoring in ARCHITECTURE or INTERIOR DESIGN and who can work approximately 20 to 25 hours a week. No work experience necessary, but you must know AutoCAD. Sketch-Up would be a big plus. I can be flexible with the hours, and work can be arranged around the student's school schedule. Saturday work hours are available, but not required.

We do projects like restaurants, office spaces, shopping centers, retail spaces, etc.

The student will be mostly working on construction drawings, floor plans, elevations, and field measuring. There may be an opportunity for the student to do some design work. You would be working directly under someone who is both a licensed architect and licensed interior designer with over 30 years of experience. For someone with no experience, the starting pay would be $13.00 to $15.00 depending on experience and ability with raises/bonuses based on quality of employee’s work. If you have experience, then your pay may be higher be based on your practical experience. No remote work available.

This is NOT a job for students in technical school or students getting a cad drafting degree.
