Architect or Interior Designer

Project Architect/Project Manager/Interior Designer Colley Architects is currently seeking an Architect and/or an Interior Designer for our office located in Blacksburg, Virginia. We are a small, growing firm, and in need of energetic team players willing to wear multiple hats. Position is Salary, Full Time, Minimum of 40 Hours per Week, M-F Compensation Negotiable, Please Include Salary Requirements with Resume Required Qualifications for Architect: 5+ years’ experience in Architecture is desired Professional Degree in Architecture Registered Architect License (preferred) or on an active path to becoming licensed in Virginia Possess knowledge of applicable building codes in evaluating code compliance Hardworking and devoted to the creation of dynamic, engaging designs Ideally possess strong design and graphic skills Ability to interact effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, architects and other offices with a high degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information Ability to multi-task and establish priorities Must exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership Must possess good time-management skills and strong organizational skills with strict attention to detail Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Fluent in architectural design understanding and coordination 3+ years' experience with Revit Required Qualifications for Interior Designer: 5+ years’ experience in Interior Design is desired 4 Year Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Related Major Certified Interior Designer (preferred) or on an active path to becoming Certified in Virginia Possess knowledge of applicable building codes in evaluating code compliance Hardworking and devoted to the creation of dynamic, engaging designs Ideally possess strong design and graphic skills Enthusiastic about being a lifelong learner Have a sense of humor! Must be passionate about quality Design, your Community, and the Environment. May be requested to work additional hours to meet the needs of the firm.
