We are seeking an independent, entrepreneurial, mid-level Architect to take ownership of their work, concept-completion, in collaboration with a close knit, fast pace, team. This is an opportunity for someone proactive, driven, and detail orientated. Experience: 3-5 years Education Requirements: BA, Architecture (5 year degree) Design Program Requirements: Advanced AutoCad & Sketch Up experience Podium 3D rendering experience Adobe CC (Psd, InD, Lr) Industry Knowledge Requirements: AIA Handbook of Practice CSI Handbook NYC Building Code 1968, 2008, 2014 Light Fixtures and lighting attributes Plumbing Fixtures Types of Hardware Doors and Window Systems Job Description: Are you someone obsessed with design trends looking to work on a wide range of residential, retail, and commercial interior project? FZAD is seeking an architect experience with the following: Experience with: • Presenting to clients • Ability to concept designs in 3D coordinating Plan, Elevation, and Section • Deep knowledge of the construction process including the contents of what a working drawing package should consist of and the contents of each sheet • Understanding the filing & expediting filing process with ability to draw DOB filing drawings • Familiarity with construction notes, ability to describe a scope of work when preparing working drawings • Understanding of materials • Millwork details • Door scheduling / Window schedules • Legal to work in NYC To apply: Please send your resume & portfolio with a cover letter.
