This is an opportunity for someone proactive, driven, and detail orientated. Experience: 2-4 years Education Requirements: BA, Architecture (5 year degree) or Major Interior Design 4 year Degree or Technical Drafting Design Program Requirements: AutoCad Architect 2021 + Sketch Up Podium 3D rendering experience Adobe Suite Industry Knowledge Requirements: AIA Handbook of Practice CSI Handbook NYC Building Code 1968, 2008, 2014 Light Fixtures and lighting attributes Plumbing Fixtures Types of Hardware Doors and Window Systems Job Description: Are you someone who enjoys drawing and management and being involved from begining to end of a project? FZAD is seeking a designer/draftsperson/architect experience with the following who is fluent in English. Experience with: • Construction Documents • Knowledge of the construction process including the contents of what a working drawing package should consist of and the contents of each sheet • DOB filing drawings • Familiarity with construction notes, ability to describe a scope of work when preparing working drawings • Understanding of materials • Millwork details • Door scheduling / Window schedules • Legal to work in NYC; Fluent in Spoken English To apply: Please send your resume & portfolio with a cover letter.
