Architect / Urban Designer (3-5 yrs)

This role operates at the intersection of architecture and urban design, contributing to projects that range from building-scale design to district-wide master planning. The candidate will have 3+ years of experience and will collaborate on projects that intersect architecture, urbanism, and landscape design. Responsibilities include developing architectural design, urban master plans, preparing technical drawings from schematic to construction, conducting site analysis, and engaging with community stakeholders. The candidate will also co-create design presentations, manage project workflows, and contribute to design solutions that align with UltraBarrio's mission. Develop design concepts across multiple scales—from individual buildings to district plansContribute to the design of buildings, urban districts, and public realm projectsProduce site plans, massing studies, and conceptual design proposalsWork closely with architects, planners, developers, economists, policymakers, and city agenciesParticipate in client meetings and stakeholder engagementContribute to public presentations and community outreach effortsClearly communicate design ideas through drawings, narratives, and modelsSupport project delivery from concept through documentation, including preparing drawing sets from concept design to construction documentsAbility to perform site analysis, research cultural and spatial contexts, and translate findings into actionable designs
