Architect/Interior Designer

Elaine Santos Design is seeking an interior designer/architect with 2-4 years of project management in architecture & interior architecture experience to come work at our lower Manhattan studio. The ideal candidate for our design studio would be an outgoing individual with abilities in design, hand and computer drawing, highly productive in CAD. The candidate should have good design sense and be knowledgeable in creating construction documents. The Architect/Interior Designer will be responsible for all or some of the project phases such as; Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Custom Millwork Detail, and Shop Drawings Review. 2–4 years full-time experience at an architecture or interior design firmEligible to work in the U.S.Skilled in producing/managing CD setsStrong project management + consultant/contractor coordinationExperience with client + vendor relationsKnowledge of NYC design resources (hard materials, millwork, textiles, plumbing, lighting, hardware, etc.
