Architectural and Interior Design Assistant

We are seeking a Remote Architectural and Interior Design Assistant to become a part of our team working on high-end residential remodels and new construction projects. Responsibilities: \\- Travel to job sites to obtain as-built dimensions and photographs, then draft into Chief Architect the as-built home. \\- Help in creating designs that marry form and function following the style directives of Lead Designer and Client \\- Help create construction documents including in-depth detailing \\- Select FF&E; elements with oversight of Lead Designer \\- Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships \\- Prepare sketches and documentation for client presentation \\- Refine and help build our social media presence and help us create our branding look with all photos and posts. Qualifications: \\- Previous experience in interior design or other related fields \\- Proficient to advanced knowledge of Chief Architect, Sketchup and other design software. \\- Ability to freehand sketch ideas for quick client idea communication \\- Deadline and detail-oriented \\- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment \\- Excellent written and verbal communication skills \\- Preferably applicant is Apple-based in computer, phone, etc., but not a deal-breaker Other Details: \\- This is a part-time position to start (about 20 hours per week) with the potential to become full-time for the right person \\- This position is a 1099 independent contractor position with the option to become employee after 3-month trial period.
