Architectural Designer

JOB SUMMARY: The Architectural Designer III works to support the project team under the guidance of a Project Architect, by developing the contract documents, including the virtual building information model (BIM), complete with all supporting information and content. Responsible for technical design aspects for small to mid-size projects to include investigation, evaluation, & recommendation of design solutions to best meet the client’s needs.Assist with architectural design of projects.Recommends design solutions.Coordinates with other disciplines on the design process.Provides technical guidance to less experienced staff.Produce architectural drawings and virtual building models in compliance with office standards for graphics, model structure, and data management.Prepares visualizations of the project.Assist with project review and documentation for code compliance.Prepare and complete constructible details for the project.Assist with editing of project specifications.Assist with cost estimating for all architectural aspects of the project.Assist with High-Performance Design (LEED, CHPS, etc.)
