Architectural Designer I (New Stores)

As an Architectural Designer I at HFA, you’ll be at the heart of our design team, utilizing 2D and 3D software to bring client visions to life. With a focus on building code analysis, zoning regulations, and technical design planning, you’ll have the opportunity to grow and gain hands-on experience in evaluating client requirements and delivering successful projects. Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To • Designer will use 2D and 3D software to assist the Design Team in the development of designs and drafting construction documents in support of clients' building program • Designer should utilize education and experience to independently tackle challenges as they arise on projects with the support of Design Team lead. Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To • Produce accurate construction documents detailing the clients vision and goals • Document and analyze existing building conditions to produce as-built documents and reports (Travel required) • Conduct building code analysis and research regulatory requirements to determine design constraints • Develop design options and alternates • Coordinate building components and systems with other disciplines to develop construction documents based on the clients requirements • Designer shall perform quality control of their own work prior to giving to the Architect of • Record for signing and sealing • Depending on needs of client and team, Designer could have direct contact with client on a regular basis HFA is a multidisciplinary architectural, engineering, and interior design firm who thrives in a people first driven environment.
