Award-winning custom residential design+build company in its 35th year seeks an exceptionally skilled and highly motivated full-time Architectural Designer. Are your designs reflective of our unique island culture and lifestyle? Qualified candidates will have excellent people & communication skills and be able to handle multiple renovation and new home projects. Responsibilities • Hold design meetings with clients and manage all phases of architectural design • Create floor plans, site plans, elevations, and structural documents and details • Work with management and estimating departments to develop exciting new home and renovation plans • Prepare electrical and lighting plans • Strong grasp of site design including sloping lot conditions • Collaborate with engineering consultants on all aspects of civil and structural design • Collaborate with estimating and construction department • Conduct site visits to verify work-in-progress • Responsible for preparation and assembly of complete construction documentation including plans and specs • Research materials, appliances and any specialty items that clients request for inclusion in design Experience: • Residential Design : 5 years (Preferred)
