The successful candidate will have a degree in Architecture with an emphasis on Interior Planning, Space Analysis, and FM Systems or equivalent occupancy planning software. The incumbent plans, directs, implements, and supervises the interior architectural design components of reports, designs, or construction projects, and develops construction documents, including but not limited to interior plans, specifications, and approval of finish materials. This incumbent will review and approve construction and design submittals under supervision of senior member of Architecture team. Coordinates with other WMATA departments and collaborates with WMATA engineering staff. • Performs timely and accurate reviews of multi-disciplinary construction documents to ensure compliance with WMATA approved architectural, engineering, and furniture plans, Authority standards and applicable codes.
