Architecture Interior Designer

As a Tetra Tech Interior Designer, you will collaborate with our design team to develop innovative design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. Your dedication to problem solving, combined with our commitment to collaboration and mentoring, makes Tetra Tech the appropriate firm to advance your technical expertise of the building industry while furthering your growth and career.Your Contributions will Include:Perform as a project interior designer on both commercial and federal projects.Collaborate with multi-discipline design team to exceed overall project objectives.Meet with clients, both internal and external, contractors and other stakeholders to develop and execute project needs and requirements.Assist project architecture / interior design team, on all portions of projects through all phases, from concept through completion.Develop design and technical details for all aspects of interior design construction documentation, including design narratives, construction drawings, and specifications. Rendering skills, either freehand or with software a plus.Develop BIM management plans and lead BIM efforts for projects.Assist with construction administration and reviews of submittals and shop drawings.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture.1+ years of experience as a practicing interior designer.Understanding of commercial FF&E sources, interior finishes, furniture types and specifications.Knowledge of Codes and Regulations including International Building Codes.Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Wood.
