Assistant Designer & Project Manager

The ideal candidate is a highly driven self-starter who takes initiative to ensure tasks are completed with excellence and on time. In addition to a passion for design, the candidate is very organized, has strong problem-solving skills, understands the importance of details, and strives to provide clear and concise communication. They have a strong desire to lead and to grow within the company. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Source furnishings, finishes, lighting, and construction elements - Produce technical specifications to ensure proper execution of designs - Draft furniture plans and construction elevations in AutoCAD - Balance multiple projects and assignments while meeting strict deadlines - Correspond with vendors and clients - Communicate with vendors and trades to obtain pricing and ensure design deliverables are achieved - Produce client proposals - Generate schedules and specifications - Create client presentations with digital and physical deliverables - Conduct project administration and organization - Support project management and scheduling - Manage and track product orders
