License / Certification Required N / A Description of the Department or Unit The interior design program is a four-year, professional degree program that leads to a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design degree. The program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). The Department of Applied Design offers three NASAD accredited undergraduate majors with 500 students : Apparel Design and Merchandising, Industrial Design with concentrations in Furniture and Product Design, and Interior Design. Students are required to complete one internship.
