The University of North Carolina at Greensboro Department of Interior Architecture seeks to fill the position of Assistant Professor. The Department of Interior Architecture is a community of scholars active in design theory and practice who embrace a wide variety of disciplines that inform the design of the built environment, including interior design, architecture, product design, social sciences, historic preservation, the arts and humanities. UNCG is a Minority Serving Institution. UNCG and the Department of Interior Architecture foster an environment of collaboration across departments and schools and support community-engaged research. Responsibilities: • teach undergraduate studios and support courses in history and theory of design each semester • continue an active program of peer-reviewed scholarship or creative activity • engage in an ongoing dialogue about the program and design practice • advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students • provide service to the department, college, university, and community
