Job Description Essential Functions (Job Duties) The successful candidate will teach courses in Interior Design and may teach in other areas of the department that connect to the candidates research expertise. The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, conduct a program of creative and/or... scholarly work, contribute to curriculum development and other aspects of the intellectual life of the department, and provide appropriate professional service. Candidates should demonstrate ability to oversee curriculum development for an Interior Design concentration that lies within a Design degree. The job is housed within an expansive department that includes Industrial Design, Graphic Design, and various Fine Arts concentrations; Candidates should demonstrate evidence of creative work consistent with expectations for a tenure-track position at a research university. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching various aspects of Interior design is preferred as is experience working across disciplinary boundaries and in community engaged and/or public art settings.
