Assistant Professor of Interior Design

The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture invites applications and nominations for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track faculty position in Interior Design at the rank of Assistant Professor with the appointment starting in the fall of 2025. In addition to teaching design studios, seminars, and lecture courses, the successful candidate will be able to state the goals and trajectory of their research, scholarly trajectory, and/or creative practice as well as articulate the anticipated contribution of this work to the advancement of the field. Preference will be given to candidates with at least one interior design degree. Applicants whose current academic rank is above the Assistant Professor level but otherwise meet the criteria of the search are also welcome to apply for this position.
