The Adrian College Department of Art and Design invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure, term-contract, Assistant Professor position with responsibilities to teach a diversity of types of courses, including a 4/4 teaching load, while also supporting expectations for advising, college service, and scholarship. The successful candidate must possess a Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in an Interior Design based field. The successful candidate should be able to develop interior design based projects and course work for students. While teaching is the main responsibility, the successful candidate should also be able to demonstrate willingness to be an active member of the Department of Art and Design by attending outside exhibitions, guest lectures, and other events hosted by the department. The College offers a multitude of majors and pre-professional programs including certifications, approximately 50 athletic teams and 10 institutes dedicated to a diverse and personalized approach to education.
