Assistant Showroom Manager

At Patio 1 our Assistant Showroom Manager is responsible for all facets of the showroom operations and client services to the highest degree to maintain The Patio 1 Experience. They will understand the importance of attracting and retaining individuals who uphold the similar standards. RESPONSIBILITIES • To have a seamless operational transaction with everyone you work with every day • Own all operational activities to maintain showroom standards, while supporting clients with design and durability factors to achieve the optimal project for many years to come • Learn and communicate the Patio 1 ethos of durability and timeless beauty • Represent the Patio 1 lifestyle brand through excellent communication, personal appearance, and professionalism • Continue to develop a strong interest in the Outdoor and Design industry • Support visual and quality standards within the Showroom Requirements • Personal growth focused, coachable, and capable of working in a dynamic team • Lead by example and ensure Gallery Associates feel supported and inspired • People and relationship driven • Embrace change and deliver top results with a positive attitude no matter what the obstacle • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills • Experience within a Design firm or furniture and/or luxury retail preferred • Art, Architecture or Interior Design and relevant experience or education preferred • Highly organized • Collaborative • Results-oriented • Proficiency with Window and Mac Operating System, IOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications Physical Requirements • Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 45 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques • Ability to maneuver effectively around Gallery floor, stock room and office • Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing Patio 1 is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, marital status, age, disability, sexual orientation, military/veteran status, or any other status protected by federal or state law or local ordinance
