Assistant Teaching Professor in Electronic Design Automation

The [Department of Computer Science and Engineering] https://www.soe.ucsc.edu/departments/computer-science-and-engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for the Assistant Teaching Professor position, The successful candidate is expected to develop and teach courses within the graduate and undergraduate curriculum with a focus in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and Hardware, advise graduate students in their research areas, maintain an active profile of professional and/or scholarly achievement and activity in the discipline of EDA and Hardware, and perform university, public, and professional service. UCSC is the nearest University of California campus to Silicon Valley and has close research ties with the local computer industry. The Assistant Teaching Professor title confers the rights and responsibilities of membership in the Academic Senate and has the payroll title of “Lecturer with Potential for Security of Employment” (LPSOE). Degree requirements must be met by June 30, 2021 for employment beyond that date.
