Associate Interior Designer
InterLux Interiors — Tampa, FL (in person; travel to Miami required)
Full-time | From $65,000/year, bonus eligible

InterLux Interiors is a luxury interior design firm based in Tampa and Miami. We design residential, commercial, hospitality, and yacht interiors for new construction and full remodels.

We are hiring an Associate Interior Designer to work directly with our senior designer and principal. This is a supporting role: design development, documentation, and FF&E specification. You will be on job sites.

Responsibilities

Develop design concepts and client presentationsProduce design intent drawings in AutoCAD: plans, elevations, RCPs, custom millwork details, finish schedulesDefine layout, furniture, and fixture optionsSpecify FF&E and build spec sheet booklets (manufacturer, model, finish, dimensions, quantity, room, supplier)Source materials, request samples and pricing, and coordinate with vendorsCoordinate with architects, engineers, lighting consultants, contractors, and our in-house drapery workroomAttend site visits in Tampa and Miami to verify conditions and review installationMaintain project files to our filing standardSupport marketing and client relationships as neededRequirements

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or ArchitectureMinimum 5 years of residential interior design experience with a portfolio of upscale and luxury work (renovations, new construction, space planning, decor)Proficient in AutoCAD, Canva, Google workspace,Photoshop, and Acrobat ProStrong eye for proportion, balance, and colorExcellent written and spoken EnglishHighly organized, responsive, and detail-drivenValid driver’s licensePreferred

NCIDQ certified or in progressCommercial or hospitality experienceBilingual English/SpanishExperience with design management softwareHow we work
