The ideal candidate thrives in a multi-tasking environment and is able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. S/he must be accurate, detail-oriented, able to work efficiently and independently, and have excellent customer/vendor relation skills. S/he must feel extremely comfortable in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to adapt to changing deadlines and schedules. A high level of organization and a positive, "go-getter" attitude are a must. • Creating digital design boards • Creating purchase orders in design software • Proven start-to-finish project management skills, including ordering and ship status tracking, building client proposals and managing client meetings • Project management for installation days • Working on CAD of product design for Lead Designer • Design Manager software experience a plus or some knowledge another design specific software • Extensive knowledge working with materials, mill-work, upholstery, drapery workroom, etc.
