Associate Interior Designer

Jill Warren Design, Inc., a boutique design firm focused on high-end residential design and custom kitchens is seeking an Associate Interior Designer with a strong background in kitchen design, to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who is extremely detail-oriented and has a strong interest in the technical side of design, including cabinetry and renovation work, but is also interested in learning the FF&E side of the business. Responsibilities As Associate Interior Designer you are responsible for contributing to the success of both large, high-end renovations to smaller one-room furnishings projects, in the creative and project management areas, alongside our Lead Designer and Design Principal from start to finish Heavily assist on Chief Architect and/or CAD drawings. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to actively listen and understand client’s needs Strong knowledge of kitchen design and cabinet construction; Experience with cabinet specifying software a plus Ability to work collaboratively and independently in order to meet tight deadlines as a team Experience obtaining vendor quotes and product purchasing Ability to produce construction documents as well as general design plans to convey details to both clients and contractors. This is expected to be a full time position.
