ASSOCIATE INTERIOR DESIGNER

As an Associate Interior Designer at Kimmel Studio you will have the opportunity to work in an award winning, multi-disciplinary firm in Annapolis, MD developing and creating high-end residential and commercial interiors. You will be responsible for working directly with the client in executing their vision while overseeing all phases of the project alongside the Project Manager and with your team’s support. Tasks • Manages projects’ schedules, timelines, drawings, material selections, budget, and client presentations • Leads FF&E selections and interior architecture detailing that includes drawing out initial millwork details and elevations within Revit or AutoCAD • Reviews and redlines permit and construction documents • Occasionally travels for client meetings and installations Communication • Communicates directly with clients to understand their vision, timeline, and budget • Presents and implements proposed designs • Develops relations with outside representatives, contractors, and fabricators • Participates and contributes new ideas to team meetings that include our landscape and architecture designers • Communicates effectively and respectfully with team members We are an equal opportunity employer.
