Automotive Upholster / Trimmer will need to be experienced in: Convertible tops: • Convertible top installation on all makes and models of cars • Convertible top repair Auto Interiors: • Leather, cloth, and vinyl seat design, fabrication and repair • Seat foam: construction, repair, and rebuild • Door panels: construction, repair, and installation • Carpet: construction & installation Upholstery Skill • Flat pattern layout • Machine & hand sewing techniques • Pneumatic stapling • Drilling, tapping, and bolt removal techniques • Gluing • Hand and pneumatic riveting
