Small, young and vibrant Architecture & Design firm seeking skilled junior/intermediate architect for part-time position. 20hrs a week to start with the potential to grow. The hours are flexible, and can be all in-office or a mix of in-office and remote. Start date : early -mid June, 2022 The ideal person will have a minimum of 2-3 years of architectural design or technical drawing office/working experience, and some craftsperson / handyperson experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: \\- Design, Drafting and Drawing Managerment for all project phases (Design drawings, Design Development, Construction Documents) \\- Construction Administration -Measuring and documenting, and drawing accurate existing conditions drawings of existing buildings -Our office interior build out (physical handywork) \\- 3d modeling (digital and physical) REQUIREMENTS: \\- 2-3+ years experience \\- Minimum education: Bachelor of Architecture \\- Sensitivity to art & design, interior design, landscapes and furniture, lighting \\- Experience with construction documents and details \\- Experience with residential projects \\- Familiarity with local codes & zoning \\- Experience with Construction Administration \\- Experience interacting with clients and organizing projects \\- Possess an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously \\- Proficient in AutoCAD and ability to sketch by hand \\- Proficient in Revit \\- Rhino abilities a plus \\- Personality that thrives in a small team environment \\- Exceptional level of attention to detail and organizational and time management skills \\- renvation and ground-up building experience a plus \\- Technical proficiency with new construction a plus This is a part-time opportunity.
