About the position Based in Baton Rouge, this hands-on role sits at the intersection of hospitality, marketing, events, content, and showroom operations. You’ll work as part of the AOS marketing team and collaborate closely with business development, project management, design support, manufacturer partners, and community organizations. Serve as the day-to-day point person for the Baton Rouge showroom, creating a warm, polished experience for clients, partners, and colleagues.Coordinate showroom calendars, reservations, tours, client visits, and presentation setup.Keep the space organized, current, and ready for meetings and events; coordinate product updates and installations with internal teams and manufacturer partners.Partner with business development, project management, and design support colleagues on client presentations and showroom meetings.Plan and execute continuing education sessions, product showcases, receptions, client programs, and team appreciation events from invitation through follow-up.Coordinate schedules, vendors, budgets, communications, guest details, and on-site logistics.Build useful partnerships with local industry associations, community organizations, and manufacturer representatives.Represent AOS at relevant industry and community events in the Baton Rouge market.Partner with the broader marketing team to activate company-wide initiatives across AOS markets through content, events, partnerships, sponsorships, and programming.Identify and capture stories about projects, people, products, and partnerships for social media, email, the website, and other communications.Coordinate photography and video, manufacturer co-op marketing, project spotlights, award submissions, and public relations opportunities across the region.Travel occasionally to New Orleans, client sites, and regional events to support programs and maintain a consistent AOS brand experience.Apply AOS brand standards consistently while adapting communications to each audience, market, and occasion.Develop genuine working relationships with architects, designers, facility and workplace leaders, commercial real estate professionals, clients, and community partners.Create meaningful engagement opportunities that support business development.Track showroom visits, event participation, content activity, partnerships, and follow-up so the team can see what is resonating and improve future efforts.Requirements A degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, business, public relations, interior design, or a related area.Experience with photography, short-form video, graphic design, email marketing, website content, or customer relationship management systems.Familiarity with commercial FF&E, architecture and design firms, manufacturer partners, or continuing education programs.
