The Opportunity

Contract Design is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Business Development professional to expand our market presence and generate new business opportunities throughout Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.

This position is focused on identifying projects early, building strategic relationships with key decision makers and industry influencers, and positioning Contract Design as a preferred partner for commercial furniture and interior solutions.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, independent professional who understands how to develop business, build a qualified pipeline, and turn relationships into meaningful opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the commercial interiors market.Establish and strengthen relationships with architects, designers, developers, project managers, business owners, and key decision makers.Identify upcoming projects and position Contract Design for consideration early in the planning and design process.Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives that support company growth.Maintain an active pipeline of prospective clients, projects, and opportunities.Represent Contract Design at industry events, professional organizations, and networking opportunities.Collaborate with Account Management, Design, Marketing, and leadership to transition qualified opportunities into successful pursuits.

Qualifications & Experience

Demonstrated experience in business development, relationship-based sales, or strategic account development.Proven ability to independently identify opportunities, develop relationships, and generate new business.Strong communication, networking, and relationship-management skills.Self-motivated, strategic, organized, and accountable for results.Experience in commercial interiors, contract furniture, architecture and design, commercial real estate, construction, healthcare, or related industries is preferred.Established relationships within the Spokane and regional business community are a plus.
