SENIOR ASSOCIATE INTERIOR DESIGNER

Position: Senior Associate Interior Designer
Requirements/Desirable Experience:
Interior Design or Interior Architecture Degree.
Minimum 8 years of experience in the commercial design industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and FileMakerPro or similar database platforms.
Ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
Working knowledge in space planning and design in the commercial industry including building codes and familiarity with BOMA area calculation standards.
Understanding of commercial furniture planning and sales is desirable.
Familiarity with furnishings products in the categories of commercial office, healthcare, multi-family amenity spaces and senior living.
Ability to interpret client goals and needs, and subsequently visualize and create comprehensive interior design solutions.
Ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects and accounts independently, at various stages and sizes simultaneously.
Ability to coordinate turn-key installation schedules with subcontractors and installers.
Individual should be versed in proactively fostering positive relationships with clients, consultants, and vendors.
Ability to foster a community presence / Represent company services.
