About the role:
We are looking for a passionate and design-driven Closet, Living & Furnishing Designer. This role specializes in wardrobes, walk-in closets, modular living systems, built-in storage and freestanding furniture,

Job Type: Full-time; Direct hire
Salary: $65,000–$85,000/year (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (including some weekends); 8am-5pm
As the Closet, Living and Furnishing Designer, you will guide clients through an inspiring design journey—from the first conversation and creative vision to the final details of a thoughtfully designed space.

What You’ll Do:
1. Client Development & Sales
• Create beautiful, customized closet systems and living spaces that reflect each client’s style, needs, budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with installation teams and project partners to bring designs to life with precision and excellence.
• Create compelling presentations, quotations and proposals.
• Contribute to business growth through thoughtful recommendations, professional follow-up, and a commitment to client satisfaction.

2. Closets, Living Systems & Furnishing Design
• Design wardrobes, walk-in closets, storage systems, media walls, shelving, built-in living solutions and coordinated furniture schemes.
• Prepare 2D/3D design presentations and drawings using AutoCAD or comparable tools/software.
• Partner with the kitchen technical lead when a project includes complex kitchen or appliance integration.
3. Technical Accuracy & Documentation
• Document dimensions, configurations, finishes, accessories, quantities, revisions
• Coordinate technical reviews before final client approval and handoff.
• Maintain complete specifications, approved drawings, quotations and revision histories.
• Coordinate with technical design, purchasing, logistics and installation teams as necessary to protect the accuracy of the original design intent.

Required Qualifications
• Approximately 3–5+ years of relevant experience in custom closets, wardrobes, modular living systems, residential interior design, furniture sales/design or closely related work; equivalent portfolios considered.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or comparable professional drafting/design software; ability to create accurate plans and elevations.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with premium European wardrobes, closets, cabinetry and modular living systems.
• Luxury residential, custom furniture, showroom or interior-design sales background. Familiarity with metric and imperial units, fabric/upholstery selection and manufacturer order specifications.
