Commercial AVL Designer II

As an AVL Designer, you will be responsible for creating Audio, Video, and Lighting (AVL) system designs and schematics based on customer requirements. As a Commercial AVL Designer, you will occasionally be tasked with providing designs and schematics for subcontracted projects alongside Sweetwater Integration and third-party installers. Responsible for designing Commercial Audio, Visual, and Lighting systems for customers, subcontractors, and installers Collaborate with Sales Engineers to develop designs that integrate with proposed gear packages and services Directly engage with Sales Engineers and customers to understand project needs and specification Adjust designs to reflect feedback or changes in scope during pre-sales or project execution stages Utilize a variety of different design softwares to complete sketches and system designs Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and standards in AVL system design Qualifications WOWs The Customer- Deep passion and desire for creating amazing customer & colleague experiences Gets Things Done - Great work ethic and moves with a sense of urgency Obsesses over the Details – Committed to paying attention to the details Drives Continuous Improvement – Always focusing on effective and efficient work and ways to get better Develops the Future – Committed to pursuit of growing personally & professionally and has a focus on bringing your colleagues along with you on that journey We function best as a unified team, so relocation to our state-of-the-art campus in Fort Wayne, IN is required.
