Commercial Carpenter – Interiors

The Journeyman Commercial Carpenter is responsible for independently performing skilled installation of metal stud framing, drywall systems, and acoustical ceiling (ACT) systems on commercial job sites. Compensation: Hourly or Salary, based on experience (Paid weekly) The Foreman is responsible for leading field crews in the installation of metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustical ceiling systems on commercial construction projects. Lead, manage, and develop field crews on commercial job sites Plan daily and weekly work to meet project schedules and production goals Read and interpret blueprints to direct layout and installation Ensure all work meets company quality standards and specifications Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe jobsite environment Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other trades Track labor productivity and adjust crews as needed Identify and resolve jobsite challenges proactively Train and mentor journeyman and apprentice-level team members 6-10+ years of commercial carpentry experience 2+ years in a leadership or foreman role preferred Strong experience with metal stud framing, drywall systems, and ACT Ability to read plans and manage layout independently Proven ability to lead crews and manage production schedules Strong communication and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation and ability to travel as required
