Commercial Interior Designer and Furniture Specifier

We are seeking individuals with a minimum of 5 years of experience specifying systems and casegoods furniture in a commercial furnishings environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • In-depth knowledge of commercial furnishings, ergonomics and acoustic products • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently; excellent attention to detail • Advanced customer service skills to diplomatically communicate with vendors and resolve issues • Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills • Follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and outside vendors • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines • Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic • Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction • Experience as a facilitator, and/or liaison between parties regarding building facility
