This will include but is not limited to the supervising of subcontractors, meeting with inspectors, and daily quality control inspections to ensure that all work is completed to meet the standards set forth by Schachne Architects and Builders and by all local building codes. You must be well versed in south Florida construction methods and materials and be able to accurately read contract documents. If not, please do not apply. Necessary attributes/qualifications · Field experience in construction or construction management background (1-3 years) · Clean driving record · Clean criminal record · Strong work ethic · Excellent written and oral communication skills · Ability to read and understand construction documents · Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually · Resourceful with strong problem solving attitude Duties · Schedule subcontractors to perform work according to the schedule created by the Project Manager · Meet with subcontractors to ensure the scope of work is executed according to the construction plans, building codes, and quality standards of the company. · Responsible for the orderly upkeep of all jobsite construction documents and the timely submission of all plan revisions that are required.
