Program Administration • Coordinate the evaluation of courses and curricula within the discipline • Coordinate a periodic review of books and other instructional materials used in the discipline • Communicate with faculty members regarding student progress and obstacles to student learning (including the review of placement for developmental courses and courses with prerequisites) • Promote the goals and reputation of the discipline • Assist in the preparation of class schedules • Keep department chair and school dean aware of all significant developments with or relating to the discipline • Serve as a source of information for students, community, counselors, advisors, administrators, and other faculty members concerning discipline policies and course content • Approve requisitions for textbooks and other instructional materials • Represent the discipline in meetings as needed • Represent the department chair in meetings as requested • Perform other duties as assigned by the chair Financial Term Life Insurance: MetLife • Employee Basic Life Insurance is 1 times your salary with a minimum of $50,000 (90/10) • Employee Supplemental Life Insurance is available in multiples of $10,000 with a maximum of $200,000.
