We are seeking a talented Junior Designer to join our design team. The Junior Designer will be responsible for drafting and design tasks under the supervision of a senior Designer or Project Manager. Key responsibilities include: • Working with the design team to develop innovative design ideas • Assisting senior designers in selecting fixtures and finishes • Developing preliminary space plans under supervision • Assisting and learning detailing • Assisting and learning the production of furniture & finish packages, along with cost estimating • Assisting senior staff with verification of site details to support design • Assisting in field surveying of client spaces • Correcting drawings red lined by others • Supporting the team in collecting information for client assessment; may attend interviews, provide documentation support; developing skills working with software tools To succeed in this role, you should have: • A graduate degree from an architecture or design school; equivalent experience may be substituted • At least 1 year of experience or equivalent educational experience: strongly prefer experience working in corporate interior design projects We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth and development.
