Creative Interior Designer

Join our team as a Creative Interior Designer! Our organization is seeking an experienced designer to provide solutions in space planning, furniture products, materials applications, and more. Specific duties include managing assigned projects from initiation through project closeout, delivering space planning and furniture products that effectively communicate design intent, and coordinating... with various university departments and committees, as well as construction and furniture vendor firms. Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture and at least two years of relevant work experience in interior design or the commercial furniture business. • Create and present creative interior design solutions that are customer-centric • Coordinate with university departments, committees, vendors and other constituents • Manage assigned projects from initiation through project closeout • Develop and execute annual and life-cycle budgeting of FF&E inventories • Partner with Procurement Office to leverage best practices in the solicitation process
