Flexibility and a proactive approach are essential as projects often come up that will fall beyond the scope of our defined roles. This is a full time, in person position. Weekends are a must RESPONSIBILITIES \\- Assisting clientele in showroom, via email and over the phone \\- Preparing quotes \\- Entering orders \\- Tracking orders to completion \\- Contribute creative ideas and solutions \\- Acting as a conduit of Rooms & Gardens quality and design aesthetic OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: \\- A passion for furniture and design \\- Motivated and highly organized \\- Self starter \\- Team player \\- Multitasker with a strong work ethic \\- Detail oriented JOB REQUIREMENTS \\- Sales and/or relevant industry sales background \\- The ability to build and maintain relationships with high-end interior design clientele \\- Excellent written and verbal communication skills \\- Ability to be both patient and persistent to pursue answers when needed \\- Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects and deadlines SKILLS & ABILITIES: \\- Experience: 2-3 years within related industry \\- Computer skills & Proficiency in technology \\- Analytical problem solving ABOUT OUR COMPANY Rooms & Gardens is a fully custom furniture boutique collaborating with various vendors around the world, as well as producing our own designs . Our approach is to provide a full-service for our interior design and architectural clients as well as our daily walk in customers. We promote and provide a work ethos that is not too serious, stress- less, while still providing a service to our clients that can vary dramatically daily.
