Creative Studio Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our design team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Design Director, Creative Director, Junior Designers, and Technical Designers in developing design concepts to client specifications. Key responsibilities include: • Developing skills and assisting the team in conceiving concept and design to meet client program requirements; • Mentoring Design Interns; • Working within and maintaining design standards; • Preparing and completing documentation packages for all phases of a project; • Responsible for coordinating the completion of presentation packages, material boards and other presentation collateral for the team; • Organizing project folders and materials, adhering to design standards; • Ordering project samples and coordinating the completion of physical specification binders and/or shipment of tagged contractor samples; • Assisting in project specification writing; • Contributing to overall department tasks/organization and production of CSR deliverables. To be considered for this role, candidates should have: • A degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited 4-year+ program; • Passion and understanding of the design process in color, product selection and form; • Ability to graphically communicate design direction; including but not limited to hand sketching/rendering of design ideas and 3D visualization of furniture and spaces; • Strong organizational skills; • Working knowledge in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and any other industry standard program and/or practices; • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interface with clients, consultants, vendors and internal staff as required. This role requires a minimum of 5 years experience in the Hospitality Design Industry as an Interior Designer.
