About the Role: We are searching for a creative, driven, and proactive Décor Designer to join our team and help us deliver exceptional designs to our clients.

Position Overview: The *Décor Designer* will play a pivotal role in supporting our event and floral design process, from concept creation to execution. The Décor Designer will work closely with the team to develop and implement design plans, stay current with event design trends, manage inventory, and assist in the setup and breakdown of events. Key Responsibilities:

Creative Design & Execution: Assist in creating and executing event designs, including floral arrangements, set design, and décor. Ensure designs align with client visions and company standards.Trend Research & Market Awareness: Stay current with trends in event design and decor. Conduct market research to understand competitors and ensure the company remains a leader in the industry.Inventory Management: Help with inventory tracking and organization, ensuring supplies and materials are well-stocked and ready for each event.Event Knowledge: Utilize your understanding of various event types (weddings, corporate events, parties, etc.) to provide design solutions tailored to each occasion.Communication: Work closely with both internal teams and clients, ensuring all design elements meet expectations. Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout the design and event process.Onsite Setup & Breakdown: Requirement to drive a box truck to event locations, execute design plans, and assist with event setup and breakdown. Ensure designs are installed and displayed according to the plan and safely transported.Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. to assist in event setup and transport of materials.Time Management: Manage time effectively to meet deadlines, ensuring all elements are prepared for the event day and that designs are executed efficiently.Artistic & Design Skills: Utilize your eye for design and artistic ability, including proficiency in painting techniques, faux finishes, and set and stage design, to contribute to creative event setups.Knowledge and ability to use power tools,Availability: Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required by event schedules. Events often take place outside of standard business hours, so availability during these times is required.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Creative & Artistic Ability: Strong eye for design, attention to detail, and artistic talent in painting and set design.Organizational Skills: Must be organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively.Proactive & Driven: Ability to take initiative and stay ahead of trends, ensuring designs are both current and innovative.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams, clients, and vendors.Preferred Qualifications:

Event & Hospitality Knowledge: A good understanding of various event types and the ability to tailor designs to suit different client needs. Prior experience in event planning or hospitality, or a related field is a plus.Experience in Set Design: Prior experience in set design, art direction, and understanding of design principles for events is highly preferred.Driving Skills: Valid driver’s license with potential interest in driving a van and/or box truck to event locations, if needed.Perks of the role:
