Fast-growing Interior Design firm located in Newton seeking an experienced part-time Design Assistant to add to our team. The candidate must have 1-3 years of design experience and be highly attentive to detail and accuracy. Candidate must have excellent organization and planning skills as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Required Skills: Proficient in CAD, Sketch-Up, and Photoshop to produce drawings and renderings Ability to work on multiple projects and timelines High attention to detail Access to a car Role Responsibilities: Prepare scaled drawings and renderings as needed Prepare design boards, construction schedules, and other project related documents Sourcing furnishings and materials as directed by the principal designers Assistance with installations and photoshoots Gathering of quotes, placement and placement of orders as needed Library maintenance and sample returns Site and vendor visits as needed About Us: We are a fun and fast-growing interior design firm with mainly residential and boutique commercial projects.
