Fast-growing Interior Design firm located in Newton seeking an experienced part-time Design Assistant to add to our team. The candidate must have 1-3 years of design experience in a design or architecture firm and be highly attentive to detail and accuracy. Due to the nature of the position, access to a car is a must! Required Skills: Proficient in CAD, Sketch-Up, and Photoshop to produce drawings and renderings 1-3 Experience in a design/ architecture firm Ability to work on multiple projects and timelines High attention to detail Access to a car Role Responsibilities: Prepare scaled drawings and renderings as needed Prepare design boards, construction schedules, and other project related documents Sourcing furnishings and materials as directed by the principal designers Assistance with installations and photoshoots Vendor and client communication Library maintenance and sample returns Site and vendor visits as needed About Us: We are a fun and fast-growing interior design firm with mainly residential and boutique commercial projects.
